Capital Management: earned capital, human judgment.
Managed funds across private and public markets, AI-augmented strategies with a human PM of record, and hedge-fund-style public equity. Each is funded from fee profits first, and Zax invests alongside its LPs.
Private and public, managed by people.
The accurate framing, and the only one we use: AI-augmented strategies run by human portfolio managers, each supported by a dedicated agent pod. Never “managed by AI.”
Zax Ventures
Deal-by-deal co-invest SPVs first, then Zax Ventures Fund I. Sourced through advisory relationships, with research-led theses and IC oversight.
Management fee + carried interest (market convention)Zax Public Equities
A long/short equity strategy with gross and net exposure, single-name and liquidity limits and a high-water mark. It is seeded with firm capital before outside LPs.
Management fee + performance fee (market convention)Agentic strategies
Agent pods generate research and signals. A human PM of record decides, the IC oversees, and pre-trade risk limits apply. Launched only after validation under the model risk framework.
As for the host fundZax Holdings
Balance-sheet capital for strategic and minority stakes, with no fund life and long-term ownership. Firm capital only, at first.
Dividends & gainsZax Principal Strategies
A separate, capped proprietary entity (long/short, event-driven, market-neutral). It never takes outside money, sits behind the wall, and runs under the strictest conflict controls. It is a secondary source of income, not the business.

Agents propose. People decide.
For public equity trades, the Portfolio Analytics agent prepares the analysis, the PM of record approves within limits, and the Risk Committee is informed. For investments, follow-ons and exits, bench agents and the deal lead prepare, and the investment committee, made up of humans with every decision minuted, approves.
The order we launch in.
Deal-by-deal capital is easier to raise than a blind pool and builds an investment record first. Larger vehicles follow only after there is a record, a GP commitment funded from profits, and infrastructure that has been proven on smaller vehicles.

No Zax vehicle has yet launched. When one does, returns will be shown net of fees, with the required disclosures, behind the investor login only.
